誤：The boy is not enough old to go to school.正：The boy is not old enough to go to school.析：當enough， very much等修飾形容詞或副詞時，應放在形容詞或副詞之後。

析：else修飾疑問詞或不定代詞時，應放在它們的後面，又如：Do you want anything else？

誤：Would you not please open the window？

析：“Would you please ……”用於委婉地提出建議、請求等。其否定形式應為：“Would you please not ……”
