都有“聽”的意思，但詞義有細微的差異。
listen to: 表示“靜靜地聽”的意思，多半用於已被聽見的場合。

• We listen to Radio Hong Kong every morning.
  每天早上我們收聽香港電台。

listen for: 表示“用心傾聽”之意，目的是要找出聲音來，多用於尚未聽到的場合。
